Great Lakes Leather Alliance - Prices Going Up June 12

The Great Lakes Leather Alliance is less than three months away, and we've been busy making this the best GLLA ever, just chock-full of opportunities for play and fun. Even more importantly, though, the price to attend GLLA goes up June 12, 2008. You only have a few more days to register at the reduced rate of $99. To register, please visit www.greatlakesleather.org.

We know that money is tight everywhere, and that we're all looking for ways to save money. Because of that, we've made GLLA this year the best deal you're likely to find for a weekend event. We have crammed in as much fun and as many parties as we think you – and we – can handle. So what do you get for that $99? You get:

Workshops, presented by some of the most well-known and respected presenters in the country. We have classes on hypnosis, pony play, knives and blades, electricity, single-tails, branding, cigar play, slave contracts, fisting, and much, much more. We have presenters like Joanne Gaddy, Mark Frazier, SirBoy Cristo, Sir Top and slave bonnie, Cougar, slave marsha and more being added all the time.

Play parties on both Friday and Saturday night are on site, with not one, not two, but THREE play spaces, a mixed space, and a men's and women's only space. Unlike many events these days, the cost of the play party is included in your event package. No extra fees apply. Remember, our theme this year is the seven deadly sins, and lust is one of those sins. We want you to indulge, and we'll make it easy for you to do so.

Contests, contests, everybody loves a contest. We have SIX contests this year as part of GLLA. Five of these contests will be onsite at the host hotel, so there's no traveling to another location. Come and watch us choose the Great Lakes Leather Sir, Great Lakes Leather boy, Ms. Great Lakes Leather Pride, the Great Lakes Bootblack, and the Great Lakes Master and slave. We've also added the Mr. Midstates contest to our family this year, and that will be held in a local bar, so if cruising in the bar is more your style, we still have a contest for you. Hot leather men and women, hot on-stage fantasies, hot special entertainment, you can't get more for your money anywhere else. And speaking of everything being on site, we have a great new hotel this year, and we know you'll be pleased.

The famous Master and slave auction poolside will be taking place under cover now, no more being rained on. We're going to have special guests available for purchase, and this is the time for you to indulge all those slave block fantasies you've been having. Put yourself up to be bought for some nefarious scenes by some VERY scary people. Scary in a good way, that is. The Master and slave auction is the primary fundraiser for the contestant travel fund, so your fantasy will fuel their travels as well.

Food and drink, you say? Where else can you be fed and liquored for free? Included in your event package is admission to not one, not two, not three, but FOUR cocktail parties. There's a free cookout picnic poolside, an ice cream social, breakfast and a snack cart open all day. We're not talking just a few snacks outside the dungeon late at night. We're not talking some chips and dip. We're talking meals, deserts, real food, already included in your event package, made possible by great groups in our region, like IMAS, NEILA, the Summit City Munch, PEER, LIFE Detroit, the Kentucky Trailblazers, Louisville Munch, KUFS, Gateway, M.C., the GLLA Bootblacks and more. We'll also have information about those and other groups available.

What else do we have? We have an added mixer on Friday night so you can make more play dates earlier. We have our silent auction, where you can find all sorts of great items, from floggers and leatherwear to weekend event passes to a number of other great events around the country – International Mr. Leather, International Ms. Leather, the Northwest Leather conference, Southwest Leather weekend, Northeast M/s Conference, COPE, Pheerfest and Beat Me in St. Louis, with more being added all the time. Imagine event packages at a great price with the proceeds making it possible for titleholders to travel. It's a win-win situation for everyone.

Don't forget our traditional Sunday Brunch, with our very special guest, Molly Devon, as the keynote speaker. Molly is the author of "Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns." Please remember that tickets are limited, so if you haven't purchased yours, please remember to do so now, before they're all gone.

Now, can you really say all that isn't worth $99 for a whole weekend of fun? You know it is. Register before June 12 to take advantage of it before the price goes up.
