Kentucky Leather Pride Winner

The inaugural Kentucky Leather Pride was held in Louisville, Kentucky on July 13-14. On Saturday night, Sir Rick Mora was named the first Kentucky LeatherSir before a packed house at Woodys’ Tavern.

The highlight of the evening was the motorcycle bar fantasy that captured everyone’s attention. Sir Rick will represent Kentucky at Great Lakes Leather Alliance August 24-26, 2007 in Indianapolis.

Judges for the contest were Mr. Bill Howard, Mr. Kentucky Leather 2007; boy brent, Great Lakes leatherboy 2006; Ms. Constance, Great Lakes Master 2003; Mason Proudfoot, Road Captain Lexington Lyons, and serving as head judge was Ms. Kendra McClain, Great Lakes Leather Alliance Executive Director. Judges Boy was slave drew, and Talley master was Doug Foote. The contest was emcee by Donald Palmore and Chris Johnson.

This contest was part of a larger event, Kentucky Leather Pride that featured demonstrations by Bob Deegan, Russ Coulter, and Struggs, and plenty of play space that was used by all participants. Make plans to attend next year’s event on July 11-12, 2008.
