The Illinois LeatherSir/boy contest for 2007 launched Friday night with the Meet n Greet at the Jackhammer bar in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.

The night was well attended with raffle prizes including a $50 bar tab from Jackhammer, which was greeted with cheers from the crowd. Other prizes included Mr. International Rubber packates, IML packages, t-shirts and, of course, porn.

The Windy City Boys Troop worked the bar in the Hole, Jackhammer's downstairs leather bar. The money they raised, along with a portion of the cover charge, went to the travel fund for the winners of the contest. Tom Stice, the emcee for the contest, announced raffle winners and introduced the contestants.

The contestants for LeatherSir were Master Wes, Josh and Rob Welcker. For Leatherboy, the contestants were Boy Joe, Joe "Bratty Boy" Alegett and Dan.

The judges for the contest are Illinois LeatherSir 2006 JoeE Arteaga, Illinois Leatherboy 2006 Devilpup, CellBlock Leather man 2004 Adrian Williams, International Puppy Handler 2005 Mistress Simone and Indiana Leatherboy 2007 Boy Issac. CellBlock Leatherman 2005 Doug O'Keefe is den daddy, Great Lakes Puppy Handler 2006 Bill Christiansen is tallymaster and Marc Arendt is judges boy.

Devilpup, who's also one of the organizers of the contest, also expressed his thanks for the support that Jackhammer was giving to the bar. Along with part of the cover charge and the downstairs bar's funds going to the ILS/b travel fund, they are also donating Saturday's Hole sales and a portion of the night's cover charge to the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom.
